Marla and Jake's Birthday Party

It's only the middle of January and we're still in celebration mode. It doesn't seem like we've slacked up at all since the holidays. This past weekend was no different. We celebrated Marla Dodson's and Jake Miller's birthdays. (I won't share how old they are...) :-) We love an excuse to dance, so they set up the sound system in Jake and Sudie's carport and we danced the night away. (Well, not really late!) If you were brave enough to stay outside that night, you had to be dancing because it was so cold!
This is a picture of Jessica with her BFF, Drew Moore. Drew and Jess have been friends since they were little. Drew told me when we were leaving the house for the party that her goal that night was to "make the Weldon Blog." Well Drew......HERE YOU ARE!

Tara and Clay Boreing. They were just married this past summer. I love the story of how they met: Living 45 minutes from each other...she even worked in Magnolia....but they had to go to Florida to meet each other on vacation! So cute! (I feel kind of like Paul Harvey. The rest of the story..)

This picture was a result of dancing to YMCA. Instead of making those letters, the boys decided it should spell out S U L (aka: Squirrels Unlimited). They are hilarious!
