Jessica spent New Years in Nashville, TN. This is the first time in 20 years I haven't seen both my kids on the first day of the new year, but I've talked to her on the phone...guess mom's got to get used to that, huh?

Clint was a real trooper. He didn't have anything to do, so chose to hang with the parents for New Years. I think by the next few pictures you can see he must have had a "little" fun!

Now, I had to include this picture. Not only because of two of my dearest friends with me, Bitty and Marla, BUT I know my Louisiana cousins will appreciate this. (Just a little reminder that we did beat you this year!) Notice the LSU sign above our heads......I never noticed that until I saw the pictures. We wouldn't have sat there had we known!!!! ha ha. The owners of this place are a house divided...she is a Razorback through and through (Go Hawgs!), but the guy, well, he's for the "other team." He's from South Louisiana, so the purple and gold runs pretty thick in his blood......I personally think he needs a Sooie Transplant (so it will run pure red and white), but that's just my opinion! Honestly, that's way to close to my head! I had to wash my hair several time to get the tiger smell out!!!!!! WOOOOO PIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK girl, IT IS ON NOW!!! I am pretty sure a tiger can not smell any worse than a pig. You have to agree with that. But I am very happy I have this nice picture of you with that LSU sign, and sitting so close to it even, and with a great big ol' smile on your face. You know I am going to steal it and I might even use it on my blog, no wait, I will use it on my blog. Gee, I sure hope I don't forget to tell everyone you are really a pig fan!! Hey, go ahead and apologize to Bitty and Marla for me if they are pig fans too. Tell them I am sorry they got caught up in this. HeHe.
ReplyDeleteI love you girl (aren't you glad) and I love the blog. Although I realize now I should have started at the beginning instead of with this one. Of course was really enjoying this one until that last paragraph. Why do you want to be a hater? You know I'm kidding, I can take it. After this season, I can't defend those poor ol' tigers. Oh, but wait till next year. But can we agree on Alabama?
