The beautiful Rocky Mountains........
They arrived Sunday afternoon, parked the bus, got boots and skis, and........
the bus was stuck!!!!

They ended up calling a wrecker to pull them out.
So far, Clint's called and his friends have suffered torn ACL, busted chin, concussion, and altitude sickness....not necessarily in that order!!!! Clint is fine for the time being....I'm saying my prayers! This is the first time he's skied and is having a ball.
The report from his first day of skiing is that he "tried" the baby slope without the lessons....sat down soon and had to get ski patrol to take him back down the mountain....Took the lessons...and is doing well now! Will have more later!
You tell Clint I "tried" to ski without lessons the first time too. Actually Grant was "giving" me lessons. For some reason that didn't work out real well. I finally decided to take off the skies and walk down the mountain. At one point I told Grant he should probable just go ski by himself or I was going to shove him off the mountain cliff. (I meant every word). Needless to say, when I finally made it back to the bottom Grant was there and had paid for some private lessons. I enjoyed skiing much more after that. I am so glad he got to do this. Sounds like he is having a good time. Snow skiing vacations are my very favorite.
