Weldon Family Christmas 2009

We didn’t get to celebrate Christmas with the Weldon’s until December 28th!  It was kind of neat though because all the other Christmas excitement was over.  Here we are waiting to open our gifts.

Jackie gets her spot ready..

 

We open by age….youngest goes first. That is always Sarah. I can’t believe she’s a senior this year, and will be going off to college soon.  Just seems like she should still be little…(of course, I want all of them to still be little!)

 

I think she’s saying, “ooooooo……”   

I knew Sarah wanted money, so I came up with the idea to give her the “Geico Money!”  She really thought that was funny.  She told us that she was taking it to the bank to deposit it just like that!  Wonder how that turned out?   Then it was Lyndon’s turn.

Then Clint’s turn.

Then Russ’s turn.

 

Mali just loved hanging out with Uncle Chuck.    Then it was Jessica’s turn.

Then it was MY turn!  :)

  Then it was Chip’s turn.  The tag said, “To: Chip, From: Chuck, Beth, Russ and Sarah”  Beth kept saying, “NO!  That’s not from us!”  :)  But it was…. too funny!  We really need to slow our lives down! 

Then Beth had an umbrella kind of Christmas!

   Then it’s Chuck’s turn.

Then it’s Jackie’s turn.  She’s the most giving person I’ve ever seen.  She doesn’t want Christmas gifts.  Her request for Christmas every year is for us to give money in her name to the Homeless Shelter.  She’s just the best.

We did just that, but she DID like her gloves!  :)

Last, but not least, it’s Bill Bill’s turn!

  

Jackie and Bill Bill got everyone lottery scratch off tickets for Christmas.  We waited until everyone had opened our gifts before we began the scratch off!  Out of everyone’s tickets only THREE of us were winners!  (and they were only $1)  :)

But it was SO much fun!

   This particular one was NOT a winner.  :(  It was mine!

Jackie and Bill Bill gave all the girls scarves for Christmas.  Aren’t they cute?  Aren’t WE cute? 

Here’s all 10 of us….+ Mali!  Another great Christmas with the Weldon’s.  I wonder how many more years it will be just 10 of us?  The kids are getting older….it’s bound to happen sometime?
